Somnium Capital Fund

The Somnium Capital Fund is a private fund. We invest capital of company, family and friends in both real estate and public equities.

We are ardent and unapologetic followers of Warren Buffett and inspired by William Thorndike. We believe that in the final analysis of equity investing, the true alchemy in any successful company is the capital allocation skills of its management.

We intensely study companies and markets in our quest to find great capital allocators. They are few and far between. If we believe to have found a jewel with a great capital allocator at the helm, we invest 'coffee can' style. This is inspired by the old American practice of putting valuable items in a coffee can, and keeping it tucked away for many years. Like putting valuables away, we invest big, with very long time frames, almost without portfolio churn.

We only ask you to contact us first in written form. As we only have so many hours in the day, we do to make choices. Send us something on paper first that we can evaluate.
